RA Dr. Gisbert Stalfort

Dr. Gisbert Stalfort, attorney at law, is the founder of the company. He implemented his idea of a highly competitive law firm specialized on assisting foreign investors in Romania which proved to be successful since 1997. Born in 1963, he studied in Osnabrück (Germany) and in Leiden (Netherlands). After his staying abroad for some time, he did his doctorate on Dutch legislation. He then worked at the Treuhandanstalt in Berlin and at a big international law firm in Düsseldorf before he decided to go on his own. Dr. Stalfort is a member of the Berlin Bar Association, and at the same time he is admitted as attorney at law at the Romanian Bar Association in Bistrita.
Av. Cristiana Stalfort

Cristiana Stalfort, attorney at law, was born in 1970 and at the age of only 26 she was licensed as an attorney at law, being deeply involved in the setting up of our office in Bucharest from the very beginning. She studied in Bucharest and Berlin. She speaks German and English and assists investors in the fields of real estate legislation, construction legislation and corporate law.
RA Christian Weident

Christian Weident, attorney at law, was born 1974 in Bucharest, and studied law in Regensburg and Rome. Already during the legal preparatory service at the county tribunal Regensburg, he dealt with the Romanian law and completed his tuition in Bucharest. Mr. Weident is a member of the Bar Associations of Berlin and Bistrita. He speaks Romanian, English, French and Italian. Mr. Weident leads the department of labor legislation and advises clients on corporate law as well as mergers & acquisitions.
Av. Dr. Raluca-Isabela Oprisiu, LL.M. Eur. Integration (Dresden)

Dr. Raluca-Isabela Oprisiu, LL.M. Eur. Integration, attorney at law, is leading the Stalfort branch in Sibiu. She graduated from the University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 2002 and continued her legal studies in 2003 in Dresden, a postgraduate course focused on European Legislation. In April 2006 she gave her thesis on "Golden Shares" and graduated in January 2007 with the predicate "magna cum laude". She speaks German, English and French, and deals mainly with corporate law, laws on renewable energies and the environmental law (in particular the waste and waste disposal law).
Av. Andrada-Roxana Harangus, LL.M.

Andrada Roxana Harangus, LL.M., attorney at law, completed her studies of law in the summer of 2006 as the best in her year with the perfect score of 10.0 at the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca. Afterwards she completed an LL.M. degree, specialized in Romanian civil law. After working for a law firm in Cluj-Napoca, she continued with Stalfort and consolidates here the department dealing with real estate and construction law. Mrs. Harangus speaks German and English.
Av. Mihai Macovei

Mihai Macovei, attorney at law, was born in 1976, and has made his studies in Bucharest and Frankfurt a.d. Oder. He works in the Bucharest office since 2001, mainly dealing with corporate law and industrial property protection; he also represents clients before ordinary courts and tribunals. Since 2004, Mr. Macovei has been appointed patent attorney (
consilier in proprietate intelectuala) at the Romanian State Office for Patents and Trademarks (OSIM). He speaks German, English and French.
Av. Loredana Larionescu

Loredana Larionescu, attorney at law, obtained a bachelor's degree at the Bucharest Law School and a Master's degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies at the Grenoble University, France. She took part in several international exchange programs at the Universities of Amsterdam, Innsbruck and Aix-en-Provence. After working for a top Romanian law firm in Bucharest, Mrs. Larionescu joined Stalfort to consolidate the firm's litigation department. She provides assistance in developing dispute resolution strategies and represents clients before the Courts of law in civil, commercial and administrative proceedings, including public procurement, fiscal challenges and insolvency. Mrs. Larionescu advises and pleads in Romanian, English and French and understands German.
Av. Barna Bölönyi

Barna Benedek Bölönyi, attorney at law, obtained a bachelor's degree at the Babes-Bolyai Law School and a Masters's Degree in Criminal Law and Forensic Studies at the same University from Cluj-Napoca. He was a member of the European Law Students' Association for three years. After working with law firms of various profiles thus gaining experience in several legal fields, Mr. Bölönyi adds up his expertise to the litigation department at Stalfort. He provides assistance in developing dispute resolution strategies and represents clients before the Courts of law in civil, commercial and administrative proceedings, including fiscal challenges and insolvency. Mr. Bölönyi advises and pleads in Romanian, Hungarian and English.
Av. Raluca Simona Lefticariu

Raluca Simona Lefticariu, attorney at law, has completed her studies of the law at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and worked two years in a law firm in Cluj-Napoca. Mrs. Lefticariu speaks English, German and Spanish; at Stalfort she deals mostly with issues on labor legislations.
Av. Roxana Staniloaie, LL.M.

Av. Roxana Staniloaie, LL.M., has completed her studies of the law in 2003 in Bucharest. Afterwards she obtained two master degress in criminal law and in commercial law and contract law. In 2007 she took part in a hospitation program for lawyers from Middle- East- and South-Europe. It was organized by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, the German Federal Bar and the German Lawyer's Society. Mrs. Staniloaie advises regarding strategies in the development of procedures for resolving disputes and represents clients in front of the courts in civil, commercial, criminal, bankruptcy and administrative proceedings. Mrs. Staniloaie speaks German, English and understands French.
Av. Serbana Paula Pop

Serbana Paula Pop, attorney at law, studied at Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest and is licensed as an attorney at law since 2009. As a student and later on as an attorney at law she worked at a Romanian-Astrian top law firm in Bucharest and gained experience in several fields of law. Mrs. Pop joined Stalfort in 2011 and advises clients on corporate law as well as on construction law and labor law. She speaks German and English.
Av. Alexandra Golgotiu

Alexandra Golgotiu, born in 1986 in Brasov, completed her studies of law in 2009 at the Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest. Mrs. Golgotiu speaks Romanian, German and English.
Daniel Niculescu, LL.M.

Daniel Niculescu has completed his studies at the Faculty for German and English at the School of Law of the Moscow Institute of International Relations with a Master of Arts degree in Law. He is also a graduate of the Department of German-Russian Institute of Foreign Languages at the State University of Iasi. After several years working in the legal department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, he joined the Stalfort team. His focus: Administrative Law and European Law. He speaks German, English, French and Russian.
Av. Carmen Castaliu

Carmen Castaliu, attorney at law, completed her studies in 2007 at the Academy of Economic Studies, Institute of Economic Studies in Foreign Languages (German Department) and in 2008 she studied laws at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest. She worked as a tax consultant in an international auditing and consulting company. Her expertise covers: taxation advice for expatriates, individual tax advice, tax implications for different deployment structures, different tax incentive schemes (stock option plans), consultancy in the field of European social security and employment legislation, VAT consulting and compliance, interpretation of double taxation treaties, tax planning and optimization opportunities. She speaks German and English and is a student of the Association of Accountants (ACCA UK).
Adina Zdru

Adina Zdru, born in 1972, studied economics in Timisoara. After working as an accountant at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and at a German car distributor she now works in the tax advisory department at Stalfort. She speaks German and English and is particularly concerned with assisting expatriates working in Romania.
Amalia Baniceru

Amalia Baniceru, was born in 1972, studied accounting and computer science at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. After working in an international accounting company and an international bank, she joined the Stalfort law firm as a tax consultant and auditor. Mrs. Baniceru is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Accountants CECCAR, the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors CAFR and the Romanian Chamber of Tax Advisors CCF.
Simona Balan

Simona Balan completed her studies at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, specializing in International Business. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR) and has an extensive and long term experience as an auditor in an international audit firm. In addition, Mrs. Balan also acted in an executive position in an international company, in Romania. She joined the law firm in 2008 and leads now Stalfort's financial services practice. Mrs. Balan's professional records include financial audits for companies which prepare financial statements under various standards (IFRS, German GAAP or Romanian standards), due diligence, internal audit, business advisory services. She is experienced in industries such as: telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution (textiles, food, electrical equipment, cement), wholesale, retail, agriculture, international transport, mining and quarrying.
Irina Stoica

Irina Maria Stoica graduated the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest, with a degree in Management and with a Master in Investment Management. She worked for several years as an accountant in international companies and joined Stalfort in 2009, as part of the Audit department. Mrs. Stoica continues her professional development as she is currently studying to obtain her ACCA qualification. She is experienced in audit and other assurance assignments as well as in agreed upon procedures assignments. Mrs. Stoica accumulated expertise in industries such as: manufacturing, distribution, international transport and agriculture. She speaks English, German, Italian and French.
Av. Oana Somesan

Oana Somesan, attorney at law, was born in 1976, completed her studies of law in summer of 2000 with an excellent exam at the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca. Since then she is licensed as an attorney at law in Romania, while she studied for a longer time before in Berlin. Today she is leading the Stalfort branch in Bistrita. Mrs. Somesan is specialized in real estate and construction law.
Av. Ioan Somesan

Ioan Somesan, attorney at law, has been successfully active as a lawyer in Romania for more than 30 years. He is an experienced practitioner who managed to clear the way in Romanian courts and authorities since 1997 for our law firm. Mr. Somesan is approved to all Romanian courts. He was and remains an important functionary in the Romanian Bar Association.
Av. Dan Molnar

Dan Molnar, attorney at law, was born in 1976, studied in Oradea and was admitted as lawyer in 1998. He deals in our office in Bistrita mainly with commercial, civil and corporate law.
